PALS is a Kindergarten through 5th grade alternative elementary school emphasizing love of learning, academic excellence, and enhanced self esteem in an interactive, multi-age classroom format. PALS offers a strong academic program balanced by firm respect for the social, emotional, and physical developmental needs of children.

PALS is a family-oriented program in which all parents are active participants in their child's education. Enrolled families make a signed commitment to volunteer 60 hours per academic year in support of the program's goals. Some parents choose to offer classroom support, while others work behind the scenes - on committees, or on at-home projects. Program-wide activities, monthly parent meetings, a PALS newsletter, social events, and close teacher / parent communication all reflect a strong sense of community.
